Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services seeks a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee the production line and coordinate daily warehouse operations under the direction of the Operations Manager. This leadership role ensures safety, efficiency, and alignment with company values while meeting customer needs.

You will supervise temporary staff, maintain records, enforce policies, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and collaborate with supervisors to optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Capable of basic math calculations.
• General knowledge of computers.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises temporary employees in production.
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable procedures.
• Enforce company’s rules and regulations.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals and maintains harmony among workers.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Works with supervisors to coordinate flow of materials or products.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance personnel.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, packed and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Process off-specification material as directed.
• Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customers.
• Inform production Supervisor and QA Supervisor of issues found during kitting.
• Verifies corrective action is taken to resolve defects.
• Other duties as assigned.
