Job summary

Saddle Creek is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to oversee the handling of customer products, including loading and unloading, and to assign work to warehouse staff to meet customer needs. The role requires leadership, safety leadership, and a focus on efficient operations.

As a lead, you will supervise tasks, complete records, troubleshoot equipment, and guide associates on product care and storage while maintaining high-quality service and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding duties in varied temps.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks and supervise warehouse personnel to load/unload and prepare shipments.
• Complete reports and maintain accurate records timely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with maintenance.
• Advise on product care, storage, and stock handling.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with others to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
