Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to oversee the handling of customer products, including loading and unloading, and to assign work to warehouse staff to meet customer needs.

The role requires leadership, at least 2 years in a warehouse environment, and forklift experience. You will enforce safety policies, complete records, and support a high-quality service culture, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform physically exerting duties; temperature can vary.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel and supervise loading/unloading, outbound staging, and labeling.
• Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel and ensure accuracy.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report to maintenance.
• Advise associates on care and preservation of product and equipment use.
• Ensure high-quality customer service through support of warehouse functions.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain efficient operations.
• Adhere to site safety policies and guidelines; take action when needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
