Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Team Lead at our Utah site to oversee warehousing duties, manage daily workload for Shipping/Receiving clerks and material handlers, and ensure smooth material flow. The role involves leading by directing work, not imposing supervisory prerogatives, and coordinating with supervisors and customers.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and 6–12 months of related experience, with potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties according to the storage plan.
• Rearrange and inventory stored materials and report deterioration or damage.
• Remove material from storage and prepare for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks to perform warehousing duties.
• Verify materials against receiving documents and route to storage locations; stack or palletize materials accordingly.
• Make detailed work allocations as instructed by supervisor or customer maintenance rep.
• Provide accurate information to team members under direction.
• Interpret information, answer questions, review and inspect work to resolve issues.
• Lead responsibilities do not include supervisory prerogatives or hiring/firing decisions.
• Perform all other position-related duties as assigned.
