Job summary

Amentum in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to perform warehousing duties in accordance with the established storage plan. You will rearrange and inventory stored materials, verify against documents, and prepare items for shipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6–12 months of related experience, and a valid driver\'s license with ability to operate a government vehicle. Safety and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver\'s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
• Ability to perform work in a safe manner to prevent loss or damage of equipment.
• Customer-oriented with ability to courteously and effectively work through difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment\'s storage plan.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.
• Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Verify materials against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies; route materials to prescribed storage locations; stores, stacks or palletizes material in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
