Job summary

Pharmavite in New Albany, Indiana is seeking a Team Lead to oversee a department shift, directing daily work and priorities while modeling our safety, quality, and cost objectives. You will guide the team through training, performance tracking, and continuous improvement efforts to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a High School diploma, three years’ experience in manufacturing leadership, and a forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification (sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks) required.
• Minimum of three years experience in the assigned area, lead/coordinator preferred.
• Ability to lead safety, quality, productivity and cost per shift.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and training for the team and sets daily priorities.
• Promote safety culture and PPE usage; participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Train and develop team for an agile, cross‑trained workforce.
• Drive root cause problem solving using continuous improvement tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in collaboration with maintenance to keep lines running.
• Maintain audit readiness by following GMP and SOPs.
