Job summary

IWS Group in Edison, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of associates, assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and achieve operational goals. You will coordinate shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, replenishment, and inventory movement while overseeing WMS processes and working with carriers to ensure on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience with WMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, assigning daily work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring operational goals are achieved.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, replenishment, and inventory movement.
• Monitor workflow throughout the shift, balancing labor between departments to meet productivity, quality, and service level expectations.
• Assist with monitoring web, warranty, and retail order processing through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to resolve shipment issues and maintain on-time performance.
• Ensure shipping and receiving operations are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory integrity.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, quality, and on-time shipping, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct routine quality audits to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and company standards are met.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing training and feedback.
• Communicate daily priorities and updates between management and warehouse staff.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring OSHA and company safety standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports for inventory control and analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
