Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead Associate in New Jersey to coordinate labor activities, train staff, and ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and labeling processes. The role requires supervising warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, and operating equipment safely.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, be capable of handling heavy furniture, and be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum of warehouse supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience working with furniture preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse labor activities to ensure high production levels.
• Provide training to new warehouse associates to Metropolitan’s standards.
• Ensure accurate labeling and paperwork processes are followed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and bring outdated items to attention of manager.
• Oversee and assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
• Support day-to-day warehouse operations and assist manager as needed.
