Job summary

Jay Group is seeking a Team Lead in Mountville, PA to guide daily operations, assign tasks, and monitor team performance. You will coach staff, ensure quality, and assist with onboarding while maintaining high standards of conduct. Flexibility for overtime and bilingual Spanish support is a plus.

The role requires warehouse/distribution experience and familiarity with WMS systems to process orders, manifests, and invoicing accurately.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and ability to direct team members across projects and daily operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to coach and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor team productivity and communicate daily performance numbers; coach as needed.
• Audit quality of work and provide feedback.
• Assist Supervisor with documentation and onboarding of new hires.
• Maintain professional conduct and lead by example.
• Participate in training new hires on expectations and procedures.
• Provide coaching on productivity, attendance, and conduct.
• Listen to team concerns and address issues; elevate as needed.
• Promote a safe, positive, and motivating workplace.
• Handle tasks in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) including end-of-day processing for manifests and invoicing.
