Job summary

Jay Group is seeking a Team Lead for our 2nd shift at the Lancaster, PA facility. You will guide a team to meet daily targets, ensure safe operations, and train new hires while coordinating with supervisors.

Key requirements include leadership, strong communication, and experience in warehouse settings. OT may be required, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. The role supports our ecommerce fulfillment and inventory management services.

The qualified individual will communicate requirements to the team, monitor and encourage safe practices for team members, and providing training. For more details about the position see below.**Schedule:** Monday through Friday 3:30pm until 12:00 midnight (OT will be required based on business need)**2nd Shift Team Lead Job Responsibilities**1. Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity2. Monitors the productivity of your team members, sharing numbers daily and coaching underperformers3. Auditing the quality of work performed by your team members and giving feedback as necessary4. Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork5. Maintaining high standards for professional conduct6. Onboarding and Training new hires7. Giving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct8. Listening to feedback and resolve issues from your team, escalating as necessary9. Promoting a safe and motivating workplace and atmosphere10. Completing required tasks in a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Tasks would include printing orders, researching orders, following end of day processing for manifesting and invoicing.## Qualifications**Qualifications:**1. Ability to handle multiple tasks while under pressure and work in a team environment.2. Must be able to provide leadership to team members on various projects.3. Strong communication skills, writing and verbal4. Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.5. Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred.6. Must be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs.7. Previous experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred, but not required.8. Must be available to work overtime as required.9.
