Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Lead to manage daily warehouse operations, monitor material deliveries, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Safety, Quality, and Production goals.

You will train staff, coordinate with shifts, and ensure compliance with product safety and ISO14001 standards; forklift experience and teamwork are important. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented manufacturing environment experience required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Forklift experience required; SAP knowledge desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Trains, develops, monitors, and supports team members using standardized work instructions.
• Monitors warehouse and receiving operations to ensure product quality and material delivery efficiency.
• Assigns associates to positions to cover daily tasks.
• Assists Team as needed to cover absentee operators as needed.
• Ensures compliance with Product Safety Procedures; understands Product Safety Escalation Process.
• Communicates with other shifts to ensure consistency and goals are achieved.
• Leads daily team start-up and monitors end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Updates Powerbase metrics and supports KPI initiatives.
• Coaches team on basic problem-solving skills.
• Adheres to health, safety, and environmental policies and Stop Work Authority.
• Maintains professionalism and company values daily.
