Job summary

Humano is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for its Piscataway, NJ site to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team through a Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM shift. The role focuses on safe, efficient workflow, resource allocation, and timely order fulfillment.

Strong leadership and 3PL exposure are valued, with growth opportunities within the company. The candidate will ensure adherence to safety protocols, train new staff, and coordinate with other departments to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a supervisory role within the warehouse industry.
• Experience in overseeing productivity metrics and driving improvements.
• Experience in a 3PL environment is a plus or 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to enforce them.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and clamp trucks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel providing guidance and support for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate daily tasks and workflow.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet productivity targets and customer demands.
• Train and onboard new team members ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by team members promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with other departments for order fulfillment.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes continuously.
