Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for 2nd shift. You will lead daily warehouse operations, train team members, and ensure safety and quality while coordinating with customers to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on leadership, with responsibilities on the floor near heavy machinery, and offers opportunities for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Reliable attendance is essential.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is an asset – training available.
• Comfortable with scanners and tablets for data keeping and time entries.
• Professional interactions with customers/vendors.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and inspection of customer products.
• Lead by example, stay organized, and maintain housekeeping.
• Ensure safety and health policy compliance.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Coordinate shift start activities and paperwork.
• Ensure tools and materials are available to complete jobs.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions.
• Be accountable for personnel on assigned jobs.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager on objectives and tasks.
• Report policy violations to Onsite Manager.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives.
• Interact with Customer to ensure satisfaction.
• Submit documentation daily.
• Maintain PPE and tool kits and certifications as needed.
• Comply with customer and tk regulations and work rules.
• Maintain site badge access as required.
• Perform cycle time studies for new jobs.
