thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead II to oversee warehouse operations on assigned shifts. You will direct a team handling receiving, storing, and distributing materials while ensuring safety and compliance with quality processes. Training and performance input to supervisors are part of the role.

The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shifts with a focus on efficiency and safety on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor, team lead or mentor.
• Ability to foster teamwork between diverse activities.
• Ability to manage a large employee base with crossover into various assigned shifts.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and analytical thinking skills.
• Effective communication, emotional intelligence, decisiveness and adaptability.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite/tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead by example; professionalism and organization in warehouse activities.
• Set day-to-day operational objectives for the team.
• Direct movement, storage and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, packaging and machinery.
• Oversee assignments and ensure completion of work across shifts.
• Monitor compliance with materials handling regulations.
• Ensure safety and adherence to health and safety policies.
• Coordinate shift start-up and end-of-shift activities.
• Provide on-the-job training for new instructions.
• Provide input to supervisor/manager on performance.
• Report accidents or policy violations to supervisor/manager.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives.
