Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping. You will supervise a team of Material Handlers and Drivers, ensure accuracy, safety, and on-time deliveries.

The role requires forklift certification, ERP experience, and a track record of improving efficiency and safety in a fast-paced HVAC wholesale setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and coordinating daily tasks.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Direct day-to-day activities of Material Handlers and Drivers.
• Ensure safety compliance and a clean, productive work environment.
• Monitor performance and adjust procedures to meet goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ERP data integrity.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
