Job summary

ION Solar is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Bloomington, IL location. You will perform physical inventories, load/unload trucks, maintain records, and operate warehouse equipment to ensure accurate stock and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluates warehouse materials to maintain quality.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and fill orders.
• Maintains physical and electronic documents and files records.
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business operations.
• Provides quality customer service to support efficient workflow.
• Receives stock and verifies order accuracy (quantity, specifications).
• Analyzes discrepancies on orders and invoices to correct errors.
• Responds to inquiries regarding invoices and deliveries with staff and vendors.

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
• Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
• Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
• Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
• Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
• Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
• Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.

• Previous experience operating a forklift

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience working with Inventory analysis
• Solar or relevant experience is preferred
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report

Driving Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
