Job summary

ION Solar, LLC in Las Vegas is seeking a Warehouse Support Crew Member to maintain inventory levels, verify order specifications, and optimize the warehouse layout for accurate, on-time deliveries.

The role includes loading and unloading stock, conducting regular counts, maintaining records, and using inventory software to track items. Forklift experience and a valid driver's license are preferred to support daily operations and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with inventory analysis is required.
• Solar experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to submit to a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluates warehouse materials to maintain quality.
• Loads and unloads delivery stock for transport.
• Maintains physical and electronic documents and records.

Description

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.

We are in search of a Warehouse Support Crew Member who will be responsible for maintaining the required inventory levels, ensuring that the orders are correct in terms of specifications, quantity, and quality, identifying any losses in stock, organizing the warehouse layout, loading and unloading orders, expediting, receiving, shipping, and warehousing all materials and supplies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
• Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
• Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
• Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
• Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
• Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
• Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.

• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience working with Inventory analysis
• Solar or relevant experience is preferred
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report

Driving Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
