Job summary

Ion Solar is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Denver to oversee warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory levels, and manage order quality. You will organize stock, operate equipment, and maintain processes to support timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include conducting inventories, maintaining records, and providing strong customer service to vendors and staff. Must have forklift experience and a valid driver's license for delivery-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with inventory analysis preferred.
• Solar or relevant experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to submit to an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluate warehouse materials to maintain quality and organization.
• Load and unload delivery trucks to receive stock and fill orders.
• Maintain physical and electronic records (receipts, logs, reports).
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, company vehicles, etc.).
• Prepare reports to keep accurate records for operations.
• Provide quality customer service to support efficient workflow.
• Receive stock and verify order specifications, quantity, and quality.
• Analyze discrepancies on orders/invoices and correct errors.
• Respond to staff/vendor inquiries regarding invoices, billing, and deliveries.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 Salary/year

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the quality and quantity of orders, identifying stock discrepancies, and assisting in the efficient organization of the warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
• Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
• Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
• Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
• Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
• Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
• Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.

• Previous experience operating a forklift

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience working with Inventory analysis
• Solar or relevant experience is preferred
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report

Driving Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
