Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Support Crew Member in Franklin, MA to maintain inventory levels, verify order specs, and organize the warehouse workflow.

The role loads/unloads, receives, ships, and stores materials, while using inventory software and ensuring accuracy. Proficiency with forklift operation and timely reporting are required. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with inventory analysis preferred; solar experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to submit to a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventories and verify stock, identifying losses.
• Evaluate warehouse materials to maintain quality.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and fill orders for transport.
• Maintain physical and electronic records and warehouse reports.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.).
• Prepare reports to keep records accurate.
• Provide quality customer service and a safe work environment.
• Receive stock to ensure order accuracy and quality.
• Analyze order discrepancies and coordinate returns.
• Respond to staff/vendor inquiries about invoices and deliveries.

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.

We are in search of a Warehouse Support Crew Member who will be responsible for maintaining the required inventory levels, ensuring that the orders are correct in terms of specifications, quantity, and quality, identifying any losses in stock, organizing the warehouse layout, loading and unloading orders, expediting, receiving, shipping, and warehousing all materials and supplies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
• Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
• Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
• Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
• Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
• Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
• Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience working with Inventory analysis
• Solar or relevant experience is preferred
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report

Driving Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
