Job summary

Warehouse Supervisor/Team Lead | Joliet, IL

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor and Team Lead to join our growing warehouse operation in Joliet, Illinois. This position will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead the warehouse team, and ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Lead, train, and coordinate warehouse associates to achieve daily operational goals.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, productivity, and work quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through proper receiving, storage, movement, and cycle-count procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve inventory, order, shipment, and operational issues.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and day-to-day guidance.
• Ensure company procedures and workplace safety standards are consistently followed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Communicate operational priorities, issues, and progress to management.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese is required. Bilingual Chinese and English communication skills is plus.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision, warehouse operations, or team leadership.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and daily operations.
• Experience managing or coordinating warehouse employees.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to operational issues.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
