Job summary

Accelera in New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy. You will lead a small team on the warehouse floor and ensure operational excellence across material handling and documentation.

You will direct activities, mentor staff, coordinate carriers, and manage cycles counts to maintain inventory integrity while safely operating forklifts and related equipment during peak periods.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Warehouse Operations Lead, you will drive the efficiency of our distribution and logistics workflow by overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy. You will serve as a hands-on leader, guiding a small team while ensuring that all material handling and documentation processes meet our high standards for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse activities, including the prioritization of shipping and receiving tasks to meet production deadlines.


• Provide mentorship and leadership to a dedicated team, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.


• Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including carrier coordination and the preparation of accurate freight documentation such as bills of lading.


• Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to ensure the safe movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods.


• Maintain rigorous inventory control through regular cycle counts and the prompt resolution of stock discrepancies.


• Optimize warehouse organization and workflow to enhance overall facility productivity and safety compliance.


• Provide active, hands-on support on the warehouse floor to ensure seamless operations during peak demand periods.

Required Skills
