Job Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse employees to meet safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness objectives.
• Support and counsel employees regarding needs and concerns.
• Address performance issues positively and constructively.
• Utilize Quality Network problem-solving processes to improve operations.
• Apply Workplace Organization (WPO) to optimize layouts and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate daily Timekeeping System (TKS) updates for payroll processing.
• Use A-3 reporting format for documenting problem-solving activities.
• Conduct daily team meetings to communicate performance and gather feedback.
• Perform weekly safety observation tours.
• Plan daily workloads proactively.
• Support colleagues to enhance shift performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and safety requirements.
• Enforce shop rules and perform SOP audits.
• Participate in skill development through the Individual Development Plan (IDP).
• Keep the General Supervisor informed of ongoing activities.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and basic technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with scheduling and management systems.
• Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years; 4-year degree preferred.
• Willingness to work long hours, with Flint being the furthest commute for most candidates.
