Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the planning and assignment of work to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains inventory and sets levels based on usage and demand.
• Receives shipments and logs information into the tracking system.
• Inspects deliveries for accuracy and quality; rejects undesired items.
• Supervises warehouse operations and inventory security.
• Assists in supplier communications and procuring items as needed.
• Implements improvements to warehouse practices for efficiency and cost savings.
• Trains warehouse staff and assists with staff selection.
