Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to lead our accounting and finance department. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key player in driving strategic financial decisions that will influence the overall direction of our company. You will be responsible for the management and oversight of all financial aspects of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting to company executives and the board.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance and accounting teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of these departments.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasts, and ensure that the organization is consistently operating within these guidelines.
  • Conduct complex financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision making.
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate compliance.
  • Manage year-end close process and coordinate auditing activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to make strategic financial decisions for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Proven experience with the following skill set: Ledger, Annual Budget, Year End Close, Financial Statements, Income Statement, Financial Reporting, Intercompany.
  • Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting.
  • Strong analytic, strategic-planning, and operational skills.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a hands-on, lead-by-example work style.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; proficiency in finance software and databases.
  • CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
