Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead mid-shift operations at their Conover distribution center for a Fortune 500 food distributor. The role focuses on safety, productivity, and coaching a team of 15+ hourly associates.

You will oversee shipping, order pulling, truck loading, and inventory accuracy while using WMS/LMS to maximize efficiency. A total first-year compensation up to $90,000 is offered with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Associate degree a plus.
• 3+ years warehousing/distribution experience.
• Experience supervising shipping, picking/order selection, receiving, and truck loading.
• Knowledge of WMS and LMS.
• Knowledge of OSHA warehouse standards.
• Ability to work 1 PM to completion of shift.
• Strong KPI and productivity analysis skills.
• Food or foodservice warehouse experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, order pulling, loading trucks, and delivery paperwork.
• Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse associates.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely order pulling.
• Confirm all orders are loaded in proper stop sequence for next-day delivery.
• Ensure proper stocking and FIFO rotation for all received product.
• Coordinate pick planning with the Shipping Manager.
• Utilize WMS and warehouse technology to maximize productivity.
• Analyze productivity and recommend improvements.
• Oversee building security and ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as needed — including covering routes when required.

What You’ll Lead

• Supervise 15+ hourly associates
• Report directly to the Day and Night Warehouse Managers
• Drive performance across key KPIs: Safety, Cost Control, Individual Performance, Team Performance

What You’ll Do

• Oversee shipping, order pulling, loading trucks, and delivery paperwork
• Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse associates
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely order pulling
• Confirm all orders are loaded in proper stop sequence for next‑day delivery
• Ensure proper stocking and FIFO rotation for all received product
• Coordinate pick planning with the Shipping Manager
• Utilize WMS and warehouse technology to maximize productivity
• Analyze productivity and recommend improvements
• Oversee building security (locking warehouse, setting alarms)
• Ensure safe operation of all material‑handling equipment
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety programs
• Perform additional duties as needed — including covering routes when required

What You Need to Have

• High School Diploma/GED (Associate degree a plus)
• 3+ years warehousing/distribution industry experience
• Food or foodservice warehouse experience a plus
• Experience supervising shipping, picking/order selection, receiving, and truck loading
• Strong KPI and productivity analysis experience
• Knowledge of WMS and LMS
• Strong service ethic and leadership presence
• Knowledge of OSHA warehouse standards
• Ability to work 1 PM to completion of shift
• OSHA or forklift certification a plus
• Strong communication skills
