Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Supervisor (Warehouse) to oversee warehouse operations, including loading, material handling, and processing activities. The role ensures efficient functioning of warehouse staff and operations while adhering to safety and productivity standards.

Reports to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in metals distribution, strong organizational skills, and a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience in metals service/distribution
• Strong understanding of material processing and warehouse operations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment that adheres to safety standards

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise and assign tasks to warehouse staff and evaluate performance
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of loading and material handling activities
• Interview, recruit and organize on-the-job training for new employees
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with OSHA standards
• Oversee inventory records and ensure accurate tracking of inbound/outbound materials
• Regularly inspect and ensure maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery
• Prepare and review inventory and evaluation reports related to warehouse operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned
