Job summary

L&S Mechanical is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support the Warehouse Manager, oversee daily operations, and lead a team of 1–10 associates, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

You will run and interpret Open/Released/Unreleased reports, coordinate staff schedules, mentor staff, participate in hiring, and drive accountability while delivering excellent service to production, subcontractors, vendors, and purchasing.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in indoor/outdoor conditions.
• 2–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably with L&S Mechanical or equivalent.
• Strong teamwork, communication and time management.
• Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and data reporting.
• Ability to learn Warehouse systems and SOPs and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations (80% on the floor).
• Assist with inventory control and accuracy.
• Lead a team of 1–10 warehouse associates and mentor them.
• Execute and improve SOPs; participate in revisions as needed.
• Run and interpret reports (Open Order, Released, Unreleased, Partial Release, WMS).
• Coordinate staff schedules and shifts; participate in hiring.
• Support health and safety policies and identify issues; document them.
• Provide excellent internal/external customer service (production, subcontractors, vendors, purchasing).
• Communicate proactively with management to drive accountability.
