UPS is seeking a capable supervisor to lead safety, production, and attendance within a dynamic warehouse environment. This role trains staff, maintains high standards for productivity and accuracy, and fosters collaboration across teams.

Strong communication and leadership are essential as is adherence to safety policies. The position offers full-time hours with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development for department personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kgs).
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensures all employees receive orientation, training, materials, evaluations, and coaching.
