Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a part of Performance Food Group, seeks a warehouse supervisor to manage receiving, order pulling, loading, and paperwork for next-day deliveries. You will oversee staff, ensure FIFO, coordinate with the Warehouse Manager, and optimize warehouse productivity using our WMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 2 -4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Associates/2-year technical degree in business management, logistics or related area.
• 4 - 6 years of warehouse experience within foodservice industry.
• Supervisory experience.
• OSHA Forklift operator certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the administrative staff including: hiring, scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift.
• Ensures all product received during the shift is stocked properly and that FIFO procedures are followed.
• Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic and ensures staff understand their roles in meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with Warehouse Manager.
• Uses warehouse management system to maximize productivity and suggests improvements.
• Handles building security and ensures safe operation of material handling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
