Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Memphis to lead the receiving, order pulling, and loading operations for next-day deliveries. You will supervise clerical and warehouse staff, ensure accurate paperwork, and uphold stock rotation and safety protocols.

You will coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on pick plans, monitor productivity via the warehouse system, and maintain security and compliance across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• OSHA forklift operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the administrative staff including: hiring, scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift and that orders are loaded correctly with proper stop sequence; completes paperwork.
• Ensures all product received is stocked properly and FIFO procedures are followed for stock rotation.
• Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic and ensures associates understand their roles in meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity and suggests changes.
• Manages building security, locks the warehouse, sets alarms, and ensures safe operation of material handling; adheres to health and safety programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
