Job summary

Vistar, America’s leading candy, snack, and beverage distributor, seeks a warehouse supervisor to lead receiving, order pulling, loading, and delivery paperwork. You’ll guide the administrative team and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, FIFO stock rotation, coordinating pick planning with the Warehouse Manager, and optimizing warehouse productivity using our systems. A background in warehouse operations and safety programs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years warehouse experience.
• Associates degree in business management, logistics or related area preferred.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling and proper loading for shift shipments.
• Ensures FIFO stock rotation and proper stocking of received product.
• Demonstrates service quality and ensures associates understand their roles to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system to maximize productivity and suggests changes.
• Handles building security and ensures safe operation of material handling; follows safety programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
