Vistar is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, order pulling, and loading for next-day delivery. You will manage staff, ensure accurate orders, and maintain stock rotation while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising clerical staff, coordinating pick planning with the Warehouse Manager, and leveraging our warehouse management system to boost productivity. Prior forklift cert is preferred; 2–4 years of related experience required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Associates/2-year degree in business management, logistics or related area preferred.
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience in foodservice industry preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training, guidance, and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate order pulling and proper loading of trucks with complete paperwork.
• Ensures FIFO stock rotation and proper stocking of received product.
• Demonstrates strong service quality by ensuring staff understand their roles to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity.
• Maintains building security and safety programs; ensures safe operation of material handling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Educación
