Job summary

Kurt J Lesker Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead PED warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and team development. You will manage daily workflows, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with North American Logistics and PED teams.

The role requires 3-5 years of warehousing experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehousing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of modern warehousing practices.
• Professional communication and strong organizational skills.
• Prior supply chain experience.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted. Assistance required for items over 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse personnel to ensure efficient daily operations and material flow.
• Support daily operations and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promptly address safety concerns.
• Implement and monitor performance management measures.
• Oversee the storage and movement of materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with the North American Logistics Manager, Receiving Supervisor, Shipping Supervisor, Material Control Supervisor, Sales, and PED teams to meet project schedules.
• Provide backup support for warehouse positions as a working supervisor.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and 6S standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, HR requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned
