Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the branch's logistics, receiving, shipping, and inventory control. The role ensures accurate and efficient daily material flow and supervises warehouse staff.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of shipping and inventory practices, and physical ability to lift 50–70 lbs regularly. Full-time with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent knowledge of shipping/receiving practices.
• Excellent knowledge of merchandise handling and production methods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Basic computer system skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery and shipping schedules for the branch.
• Instruct and supervise warehouse staff on safety and operations.
• Assign workloads and maintain staffing levels.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve conflicts.
• Address daily operational issues and keep staff informed of company news.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Plan stock layout and optimize storage space.
• Monitor stock levels and remediation of slow/moving items.
• Communicate with customers and sales to address service issues.
• Multi-task and prioritize daily tasks.
