Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Los Angeles warehouse team, oversee receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and quality control, and ensure safety and on-time delivery. This hands-on leadership role requires organizing, training, and motivating staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supervising shifts, coaching employees, maintaining inventory accuracy in Sortly, and enforcing FIFO/ cold-chain procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, or food distribution experience; prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order and inventory accuracy.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using inventory management technology, including barcode/QR scanning and mobile apps.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coach Warehouse Associates/Drivers across daily shifts.
• Train new hires on warehouse systems, safety procedures, and quality standards; provide ongoing feedback.
• Oversee receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Enforce food-safety, sanitation, and cold-chain procedures; maintain clean, hazard-free work areas.
• Partner with team to ensure orders are completed on schedule and communicate issues to leadership.
