Job summary

Scotts Miracle‑Grove is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a 1.3M sq ft Marysville, OH Distribution Center to service internal and external customers. You will lead shift operations, manage loading/unloading, and drive inventory accuracy while controlling costs in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of warehouse supervision experience, plus SAP proficiency and strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related study preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in warehouse supervision or supervision in a production environment.
• Understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
• Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends during peak season.
• Strong administrative and planning skills.
• SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations within the Marysville Distribution Center.
• Ensure the customer shipping schedule is obtained and review the shifts.
• Direct distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Work with packaging to ensure product quality and 100% packaging uptime.
• Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments when required.
• Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures and customer requirements.
• Train and enforce Scotts Miracle‑Grove policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work area.
• Monitor and order services or supplies as needed.
• Manage overtime requirements balanced by the budget.
• Work with returns coordinator on processing returned products.
• Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
