Job summary

You will inspect equipment, ensure accuracy, and maintain a clean work area in a fast-paced distribution setting. High school diploma or GED preferred, with weekly pay at an approximate rate of $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Must be able to do basic math functions (add/subtract/divide).
• Must be able to read orders for picking and staging of products.
• Must be able to complete the pre-shift inspection forms and pass forklift exams.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances and pull/prepare product for shipment.
• Perform picking duties meeting customer service standards.
• Move product to rail cars or trailers as required.
• Operate forklift and other equipment safely using RF devices.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Keep records to ensure inventory control and assist in physical inventories.
