Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics, a leading logistics provider in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee storage layouts, workflow, and staff safety. The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to policies in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include planning layouts, supervising staff, enforcing safety regulations, coordinating shipping/receiving, and driving quality improvements across warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for the position.
• Three to four years of relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues.
• Advises and enforces safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
