Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Atlanta to oversee layout planning of storage areas, supervise staff, and ensure safe handling and shipping of stock. The role involves setting procedures, schedules, and maintaining quality and efficiency within the warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of supervisory experience, a GED or high school diploma, and a track record of enforcing safety regulations while improving processes. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover, size, weight and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care, preservation of items received, stored and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
