Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in North Carolina. The role supervises receipt, stocking, order filling, and shipment of merchandise, and may oversee staff operating warehouse equipment. You will plan daily goals and monitor production efficiency.

You will conduct staffing reviews, partner with Training to develop new employees, maintain records, and support safety initiatives to reduce injuries. Interactions with HR for hiring and counseling are expected.

Qualifications

• Understanding of inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of inbound or outbound functions within the distribution center.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated conflict resolution and one-to-one communication skills.
• Good interviewing and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with WMS, Excel, and Kronos payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews WMS reports; notifies WMS personnel regarding shutdowns or WMS failures.
• Reviews staffing levels and plans with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Plans daily production goals.
• Performs weekly and monthly staffing reviews with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Partners with Training Department to monitor new employee development.
• Supports safety programs to reduce employee injuries.
• Interviews and selects candidates for employment with Human Resources.
• Maintains employee records daily.
