Job summary

Vistar is seeking warehouse loaders to form the backbone of our distribution operations. You will transport freight into trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks, secure loads, and maintain safe, efficient workflows on a Sunday–Thursday schedule with daily end times based on volume.

Earn $22–$24 per hour with $1 shift and $1 loading differentials, Day 1 benefits, and eligibility for quarterly safety bonuses and merit increases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; heavy lifting up to 60–90 lbs.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items into trailers using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand according to loading plan.
• Locate proper trailer slots and secure loads.
• Manage pallets, wrap and label when needed; keep area clean.
• Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform equipment checks and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Assist Order Selectors and perform related duties as assigned.
