Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving operations within our distribution center. The role emphasizes safe, efficient handling of products and adherence to quality standards while maintaining inventory and workspace organization.

Responsibilities include forklift-related tasks, order selection, pallet handling, and daily safety checks. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in multi-temperature environments, with post-offer drug screening

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, and pallet handling.
• Performs general housekeeping to keep the warehouse and loading areas clean and safe.
• Performs daily safety checks of the forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs damage checks on received items and reports issues.
• Removes and replaces batteries, and completes vehicle inspection checklist.
• Reviews work schedules and production paperwork to prepare for operations.
• Wears required PPE and safety gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Handles all necessary paperwork and secures equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
