Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the Breaker Plant in Grand Prairie, TX. You will supervise 20–25 team members, manage receiving, storage and delivery to manufacturing, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning to support production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, with knowledge of Kanban, VMI, and inventory replenishment; proficiency in MS Office and ERP SAP; and

• A Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of successful experience in a Warehouse Manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment methods such as Kanban, VMI, Consignment, etc
• Proficient in Microsoft Computer skills (Office, Excel)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
• Project management with demonstrated delivery of improvement projects in a manufacturing environment
• LEAN, Six Sigma, Root Cause and Continuous Improvement skills
• APICS/CPM Accreditation

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join our team. This position will be based at our Breaker Plant in Grand Prairie, TX.

The primary responsibilities include Receiving, Storage, and Delivery to Manufacturing. In this role the candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supervising 20-25 Team Members across 2 shifts. Overtime will be required as needed. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsible for the Team accurately and efficiently receiving material, storing material, picking and kitting material, and delivering material to the assembly lines. The Supervisor will handle Team scheduling and daily assignments. This person will be responsible for warehouse cycle counting, root cause, and will be involved in the resolution of all discrepancies related to the warehouse. This position has significant interaction with every other Department in the plant.

You will make an impact by:

• Managing/utilizing SAP Manufacturing
• Overseeing Inventory/Warehouse and Administering COGI Resolution
• Supervising Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt Resolution
• Balancing Inventory planning/management background
• Conducting MRP inventory analysis as well as collecting and analyzing data to present improvement possibilities
• Participating in development of Warehouse strategy
