Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for the 3rd shift. You will supervise 15–25 team members handling receiving, storage, inventory, and delivery to manufacturing, coordinating with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing or warehouse settings, leadership experience, and SAP proficiency, with the ability to work 11:00pm–7:30am. On-site location with weekend/holiday overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • 2+ years supervising/leading small to mid-size teams.
  • Able to work 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am.
  • Strong communication and MS Office skills.
  • SAP experience is required or strongly preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team scheduling and daily assignments.
  • Oversee warehouse cycle counting and root cause analysis; resolve discrepancies.

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor for 3rd Shift, which must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed! To join our team! This position will be based at our Grand Prairie, TX site.

The primary responsibilities include Receiving, Storage, Inventory management and Delivery to Manufacturing. In this role the candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supervising 15-25 Team Members across 3 shifts.

You’ll make a difference by:
  • Supervising one of the teams responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving material, storing material, picking and kitting material, and delivering material to the assembly lines.
  • Handling Team scheduling and daily assignments.
  • Managing warehouse cycle counting, root cause, and will be involved in the resolution of all discrepancies related to the warehouse.
  • This position has significant interaction with every other Department in the plant.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years’ experience in manufacturing or warehouse distribution environments and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, etc.)
  • 2 or more years of experience supervising/leading small to medium size teams.
  • Ability to work 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am
  • Leadership skills with the ability to work with different levels in organization.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written and presentations skills.
  • SAP Experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply-chain management are strongly desired, although a combination of educations (High School Diploma or GED) and directly related work experience will also be considered.
  • SAP Experience (SAPwp)
  • Project management with proven delivery of improvement project in a manufacturing environment.
  • LEAN, Six Sigma, Root Cause and Continuous Improvement skills
  • APICS/CPM Accreditation

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
