Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Logistics Supervisor on 2nd shift to oversee receiving, shipping and inventory while leading a 10–20 person team.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning to keep production flowing and to drive continuous improvement through standard processes and root-cause resolution.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing/inventory, a engineering or supply-chain degree preferred, and strong Microsoft Office skills plus proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment (KANBAN, VMI, Consignment).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply-chain management preferred; HS diploma with related experience considered.
• Proven leadership to work with multiple levels in the organization.
• Strong computer skills (Office) with verbal, written and presentation abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

This position will be based at our Fort Worth, TX facility.</h3><h3>You’llmake an impact by:</h3><ul><li>Primary responsibilities include Receiving and Shipping and will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production while leading a team of 10-20 team members.</li><li>Teams accurate and efficient receipt of products, storing inventory, and shipping products to our customers.</li><li>Handling team schedules and daily assignments.</li><li>Continuous improvement, standard processes, root cause and resolution.</li></ul><h3>You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:</h3><h3>Basic Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>2 or more years’ experience in manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, etc.)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply-chain management are strongly desired, although a combination of educations (High School Diploma or GED) and directly related work experience will also be considered.</li><li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to work with various levels in an organization.</li><li>Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written and presentations skills.</li><li>Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Project Management with proven delivery and improvement project in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause and/or Continuous Improvement skills (APICS/CPM Accreditation)</li></ul><h3>You’ll Benefit From</h3><p>Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
