Job summary

Siemens in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Fabrication Operator I for the 2nd Shift to join a world-class manufacturing team. You will set up and operate machinery, read blueprints, and help ensure flawless production processes.

You will program parts, perform quality checks, and assist in finishing operations such as drilling, tapping, and deburring while keeping a clean, safe workspace and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Capable of reaching, grasping, lifting 75 lbs, and pushing/pulling heavy materials.
• Proficient with hands/arms movements to grasp and move objects.
• Flexible to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Mechanical proficiency and computer competency; willing to operate industrial machinery.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery to ensure flawless production processes.
• Program parts, conduct quality checks, and read blueprints.
• Assist in finishing operations, including drilling, tapping, and deburring.
• Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on processing equipment.
• Organize, identify, and verify counts of materials with Purchasing and Shipping.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; support additional duties as assigned.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $25.62 (+ 5% shift differential)

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language.
• Capability to reach, grasp, lift 75lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material.
• Proficiency in coordinating movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
• Flexibility to be able to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Mechanical proficiency and skill along with computer competency and willingness to operate industrial machinery.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Prior experience as a foreman or warehouse trainer
