Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Faribault, MN, 2nd shift. You will oversee shipping/receiving operations, implement procedures for handling, labeling, packing, and delivering materials, and guide a team to meet service goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, process optimization, and cross‑department collaboration to enhance customer support and profitability. A strong background in warehouse operations is expected, with a preference for higher education in related fields.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving, customer service, and purchasing groups to ensure quality customer support.
• Develop, maintain, and execute procedures for the handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving of materials.
• Assign daily job responsibilities to shipping and receiving department employees based on resources and inbound/outbound volumes.
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based on resource availability and shipping volumes.
• Train and monitor shipping/receiving staff in job functions, policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving departments and other departments to improve warehouse service.
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies to promote profitability, customer support, and employee well-being.
• Work with other groups within the Daikin parts organization to resolve business problems.
• Administer company policies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving department and customer service/purchasinggroup to ensure quality customer support
• Develop,maintain, and execute procedures for the quality handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving of materials
• Assign daily job responsibilities to shipping and receiving department employees based on availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based upon availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes
• Train andmonitorshipping/receiving department employees in areas of job functions, company policies, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving departments and other departments to continuously improve the warehouse’s ability to service Daikin customers
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies and procedures to promoted increased business profitability, customer support, and employee well being
• Work with other groups within the Daikin parts organization as needed to resolve problems within the business
• Administer company policies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
