Job summary

Pegasus Logistics Group seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and staff. You will manage receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory activities while driving efficient layouts and space utilization.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, an Associate degree, and strong English skills. You will monitor safety, adhere to QMS standards, and utilize WMS/ERP systems to analyze performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or its equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in related area as an individual contributor.
• Thorough knowledge of functional area.
• Strong technical and supervisory skills to direct assist staff.
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Job Profile Summary

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
• Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.
• Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
• Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.
• Implements strong safety polices and procedures
• Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

• Associate degree or its equivalent.
• Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.
• Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of functional area
• 3+ years of experience in related area as an individual contributor
• Strong technical and supervisory skills to direct assist staff
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

• 2+ years in a warehouse lead or supervisory role

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
• Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
