Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a warehouse operations supervisor at JFK CSC-JFKS in New York. The role focuses on safety compliance, training on material handling equipment, and overseeing receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy to ensure timely, accurate product flow.

You will lead by example in customer service, motivate teams toward total satisfaction, and manage daily operations with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two years of college coursework required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Analytical, critical thinking skills and attention to detail are required.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new programs.
• Two years operational management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, follow and audit safety policies and procedures.
• Train associates on material handling equipment (order picker, electric pallet jack, stand-up forklift).
• Train associates in warehouse management systems use.
• Oversee receiving, shipping and prep to ensure correct product in correct sequence.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure unparalleled customer service.
• Motivate associates toward total customer satisfaction with professional behavior.
• Perform additional functions as directed by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
