An established industry player seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shipping and receiving operations. This role involves leading warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient logistics, and maintaining safety standards. Responsible for supervising the shipping and receiving functions of all outgoing and incoming products from the warehouse. Leads and controls activities of warehouse personnel. Ensures efficient, accurate, and timely shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution. Protects warehouse contents against loss, reviews warehouse documents and reports, and ensures operations adhere to established procedures and policies. Keeps management informed of warehouse activities and supports area personnel as needed.
Performs duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and procedures, as applicable. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
Basic purchasing and inventory procedures, computer applications, courier and mailing functions.
Three or more years of related progressive experience.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and coordination skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with maintenance equipment, computer applications, and Microsoft Office. Attention to detail, good communication, and public relations skills. Ability to operate PC and use Word and Excel.
